omg, sorry for such a late reply! re kunle -- 100%! writing fic is truly the best way to get into them... i think it definitely made me more interested in them too (& i met lovely people like you, so!)
i also completely agree w investment making fic harder...... it truly is a little bit of a burden because i just feel i MUST get it right, and same hahaha kunle wasn't my fave/main ship so it was so much easier to write something based on that one split second/moment that i listened to on the radio then constantly contemplate whether i was characterizing them properly, lolol. but i'll get there, hopefully!!! communicate some kind of dk thesis like you have through your many (amazing) kunle fics.
